FST about: Coach T

I’ve been a Strength and Mobility Coach for over 15 years, helping thousands of professional, collegiate and everyday athletes excel at anything physical they want to go out and do.

My passion for health and fitness started in college when I saw my first sports performance coach who showed me that even though I am strong and fast, I still have lots of room for improvement (mind blowing info at the time🤦🏾‍♂️), especially in the mobility department.

As I got older, and my football career came to an end, those years of football started to show up and I started to get injured more and more often.

 

From Achilles tears, to hip impingements and excessive lower back pain that landed me in the hospital, and having a surgery. I’ve experienced it all. It’s been a vicious cycle that almost got me thinking that my body was broken and this was the way it was going to be for the rest of my life.

 

About 8 years ago, I realized I had had enough and started looking at every certification, program or modality on the planet to try and fix my problems. You know – the typical solutions we’re told to try like foam rollers, passive stretching, icing, resting…I even once used a car buffer to massage my knots!

It wasn’t until I learned about mobility and fascia stretch training and the power of getting to the root of the problem at the joint level that my life and those of my clients changed forever.

Now I’m on a mission to share this simple and effective system with others so they can do the active things they love without the fear of old injuries flaring up.
